Our Story
Blodgett Street Baptist Church is a warm, family-friendly Church in Carlsbad, New Mexico. We are a casual congregation that welcomes people from all walks of life. Whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere and genuine people who desire to love Jesus and love others well.
Our heart is to help people grow in their relationship with Christ and to make disciples across generations. We especially value investing in children and youth, believing that discipling the next generation is vital to the health of the Church and our community. We also desire to reach families in our neighborhood and be a blessing to those around us.
Blodgett Street Baptist Church was founded in 1953 and has a long history of teaching the Word of God in Carlsbad. While we have walked through seasons of change, we remain committed to biblical teaching, authentic community, and sharing the hope of the Gospel with our city.
In 2026, we entered a new season as Pastor Anthony Moya became our Lead Pastor. We are excited about what God is doing among us as we focus on sound biblical preaching, building meaningful relationships, and serving our community with the love of Christ.
